This Leon Hubert’s design, eliminates the “bouncing” of the free-floating sear lever hence the risk of unintentional discharge while racking the slide or slide’s forward movement during the shot cycle. The Optimized Type 1 Safety Sear Lever for Hi-Powers also prevents the contact between the sear lever and the back of the frame during the shot cycle (also caused by the free-floating sear lever). Although placing a spring between the sear lever and the slide is not a new idea, BHSpringSolutions is the first one to offer a drop-in solution that won’t require drilling a hole in the slide.
